Introduction
We are recruiting a Utility Head to join one of our leading multinational clients and their expanding team. This position is based in Ahmedabad and offers an excellent opportunity for experienced proposal management professionals in the Renewable Energy sector.
What are you going to do
Position: Utility Head (Manager)
Contract: On Permanent Role.
The Utility Head is responsible for overseeing, operating, and maintaining all utility systems (e.g., HVAC, boilers, chillers, compressed air, water treatment, power distribution) to ensure uninterrupted support to production and facility operations. This role ensures cost-effective, safe, and efficient performance of utility equipment and compliance with statutory regulations.
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
- Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in utility management within preferably a solar module /cell manufacturing plants.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of utility systems (boilers, chillers, HVAC, compressors, WTP/ETP), familiarity with CMMS or ERP maintenance modules, and understanding of ISO 14001, OHSAS, and energy management systems.
- Soft Skills: Leadership and team management, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication and coordination skills, and budgeting and cost-control capabilities.
