Brunel Energy Inc and Brunel Resources Inc (“Brunel”) complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Brunel has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF.

In compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, Brunel commits to resolve DPF Principles-related complaints about our collection and use of your personal information. EU and UK individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our handling of personal data received in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, should first contact the Brunel Data Protection team via this webform.  Via this webform you can also exercise your right of access to your personal data or request Brunel to limit the processing of your personal data to only the purpose for which your personal data was collected. You can withdraw your consent any time via the webform.

In compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF Brunel commits to cooperate and comply respectively with the advice of the panel established by the EU data protection authorities (DPAs) and the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) with regard to unresolved complaints concerning our handling of human resources data received in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF in the context of the employment relationship. 

Brunel is subject to the enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”). The FTC enforces federal competition and consumer protection laws that prevent anticompetitive, deceptive, and unfair business practices.  Brunel is required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, national security and law enforcement requirements included. 

In cases of onward transfers, Brunel has responsibility for the processing of personal information we receive under the EU-U.S. DPF and subsequently transfers to third parties acting as an agent on our behalf, such as our clients, suppliers and our affiliates for staffing purposes. For more information see our privacy policy.  Brunel shall remain liable under the Data Privacy Framework principles if our agent processes such personal information in a manner inconsistent with the Data Privacy Framework principles, unless Brunel can prove that we are not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage, if any. 

You may invoke binding arbitration by delivering notice to Brunel. This option is available to an individual to determine whether a participating organization has violated its obligations under the Data Privacy Framework principles as to that individual, and whether any such violation remains fully or partially unremedied. This option is available only for these purposes. This option is not available, for example, with respect to the exceptions to the Data Privacy Framework principles or with respect to an allegation about the adequacy of the EU-U.S. DPF.
