Introduction

You will lead the integration and separation of energy assets-across gas transmission, renewables, generation, and storage-into and out of the operating model.

Sitting at the interface of corporate development, projects, and operations, you will ensure newly acquired, divested, or constructed assets are transitioned seamlessly into BAU, with clear governance, risk control, and stakeholder alignment.

About this role

  • Lead end-to-end integration and separation planning and delivery
  • Mobilise cross-functional teams and establish governance to drive outcomes
  • Align processes, technology, data, reporting, and people for operational readiness
  • Partner with corporate development, projects, operations, finance, IT, HR, procurement, and legal
  • Simplify complex concepts and present clear, actionable plans to senior stakeholders
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and timelines to achieve milestones

Essential

  • Extensive experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or large-scale capital projects
  • Proven success in asset integration, separation, or major program delivery
  • Excellent influencing and stakeholder management across executive and functional teams
  • Strong governance, analytical, and problem-solving capability
  • Track record of simplifying complexity and delivering to critical timelines

Desirable

  • Exposure to M&A due diligence and integration planning
  • Experience across gas, renewables, generation, or energy storage
  • Background in operations, engineering, or program delivery
