What are you going to do

  • Develop and implement the Project Controls Plan and Management of Change (MOC) Plan.

  • Provide leadership for cost control, scheduling, progress measurement, and change management.

  • Deliver timely and accurate data, reports, and forecasts in support of benchmarking and decision-making.

  • Lead preparation and maintenance of the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS), Original Control Budget (OCB), Current Control Budget (CCB), and Project Master Schedule.

  • Coordinate project cost and schedule data collection, analysis, and reporting; prepare forecasts and identify potential risks.

  • Administer the Management of Change process and support Capital Efficiency initiatives.

  • Interface with Controllers for AFEs, budgets, invoices, and Work-In-Place reporting.

  • Support bid evaluations, contract budget/schedule development, and milestone tracking.

  • Oversee contractor project controls activities; review and endorse baselines, forecasts, and change proposals.

  • Participate in project reviews, Gate Reviews, Estimate Confidence Packages, and Check Point reviews.

  • Provide input to consortium, affiliate, or joint venture presentations.

  • Support project closeout, reporting, and lessons learned activities.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to project controls engineers and planners.

  • Ensure quality assurance at the project level by monitoring contractor cost, progress, and schedule performance.

  • Promote capital efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement in project controls processes.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.

  • Extensive experience in project controls with a focus on cost control and schedule control.

  • Supervisory or team leadership experience.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire.

  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and project reporting.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and mentor others.

  • Willingness to relocate to project sites and work in team-based, international environments.
