Introduction

Job Purpose:
To ensure the accurate and compliant receipt, inspection, and documentation of inbound drum packaging materials and additives at the Lubricants Oil Blending Plant (LOBP). The Drum Inbound Checker plays a key role in maintaining quality standards, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

What are you going to do

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inbound Inspection & Sampling
  • Prepare and verify delivery documents (surat jalan) and related paperwork for inbound materials.
  • Conduct sampling of packaging materials (drums and tabseals) based on cavity and batch numbers, aligned with actual delivery and documentation.
  • Perform physical inspections of drums and tabseals to ensure they are in good condition and meet AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standards.
  • Ensure all received items are in good condition and match the quantity stated in the delivery documents.

Quality & Inventory Control
  • Update inspection and unloading process records regularly.
  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly counting of materials with 99.99% accuracy.
  • Record and report additive control, material consumption, and stock aging data.
  • Identify and document Blocked and Quarantine items for further QA review.

System & Reporting
  • Perform Goods Receipt (GR) and Goods Issue (GI) transactions in GSAP system.
  • Process Advance GR for Additives as per operational requirements.
  • Generate daily reports based on production picklists and execute system transfers in GSAP.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Minimum education: Vocational School (SMK) or Professional Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum experience: 3-5 years in warehouse operations, material handling, or quality inspection - ideally in lubricants, FMCG, or manufacturing industries.
  • Familiar with inbound inspection, document verification (surat jalan), and sampling procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of AQL standards and warehouse inventory systems.
  • Experienced with SAP/GSAP for Goods Receipt (GR) and Goods Issue (GI) transactions.
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and disciplined in recordkeeping.
  • Good coordination and communication skills with QA and warehouse teams.
  • Reliable, proactive, and committed to maintaining stock accuracy and material quality.
