We are looking for a DCS Supervisor to work with one of our major Oil and Gas clients in Beaumont, TX.
Configure and commission the DCS system.
Install networking hardware, patch panels, and associated components.
Set up AS-to-AS communication links.
Carry out loop checks for control and instrumentation systems.
Modify PCS7 settings and HMI displays as required.
Partner with Electrical Technicians to complete EMS loop and switchgear (SWGR) function checks.
Coordinate functional testing with the Commissioning Manager.
Work alongside Vendor Representatives to validate equipment performance.
Verify connectivity and communication with all field devices (e.g., surge controllers, chillers, analyzers, VSDs).
Provide support during commissioning tasks, such as surge testing, anti-cavitation configuration, parameter adjustments, and interlock validation.
Diagnose issues in devices, control panels, and communication networks.
Assist in testing interactions between trains.
Participate in SIL function checks.
Offer support and troubleshooting for Modbus communication with external systems.
Keep accurate documentation, update/redline drawings, and prepare test reports.
Provide progress updates to the LEHQ office at least once per week.
Ensure proper handover of the DCS system to the client.
