About this role

  • Primary Site HSE Representative with day-to-day interface with contractors, HSE and Site Leadership Teams supporting Onshore Well Operations
  • Support awareness and compliance with Environment (EP commitments) and Safety Case requirements
  • Support implementation and adherence of applicable HSE Bridging documents and Contractor Operational Excellence Management (COEM) processes
  • Lead site HSE inspection, assurance activities and incident investigations as required
  • Site-based Safety Case and EP assurance activities and adherence
  • Champion Site Safety Culture and alignment with Well Safe requirements
  • Participate in site-based Safety Leadership meetings and forums
  • Ensure site-based compliance with the Company contract HSE requirements
  • Participate as required in Progress meetings
  • Investigation and action item tracking, assurance item tracking
  • Assures that contractor is following agreed safe work practices and have implemented identified solutions and improvements
  • Field coordination and/or assistance of external regulator audits and interface
  • Safety Inductions of Business Partners
  • Steward of health and safety metrics
  • Participate in HAZID workshops as requested

Is this you?

  • Proven experience in an HSE Advisor/Specialist role within the Oil & Gas, Well Services, Drilling industry sectors
  • Strong understanding of Safety Case, Environment Plan and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated experience leading site-based HSE activities, inspections and investigations
  • Ability to influence and engage contractors and site teams to drive safety culture
  • Experience with COEM or equivalent contractor management systems (highly regarded)
  • Strong communication, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence interpreting and applying HSE standards, procedures and safe work practices
  • Ability to work rostered night shift at a remote onshore location
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
