About this role
- Provide practical, day-to-day safety advice and support to workshop staff, management, and projects.
- Maintain, implement, and improve ISO45001 Safety Management System.
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, safety audits, and inspections.
- Develop and deliver safety training and toolbox talks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS legislation and company procedures.
- Promote a proactive and positive safety culture across the organisation.
Is this you?
- Experience in a Safety Officer or similar role within Australia.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or similar trade-based environment.
- Exposure to, or working knowledge of, ISO45001.
- The ability to work autonomously, identify risks, and implement practical solutions.
- Relevant WHS qualifications (Cert IV or higher is highly desirable).
