Brunel is seeking a Truck Driver to join operations in Guyana with a multinational company recognized as a leader in the energy and integrated logistics sector.

This professional will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of cargo while adhering to the company's safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate trucks and heavy vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company procedures;

  • Transport cargo securely, ensuring integrity and punctuality of deliveries;

  • Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and report maintenance needs or malfunctions;

  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and cargo as required;

  • Support loading and unloading activities when necessary;

  • Follow all road safety and occupational health regulations;

  • Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize routes and delivery schedules.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a truck driver in industrial, logistics, or energy operations;

  • Valid commercial driver's license meeting local requirements;

  • Knowledge of vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance for heavy trucks;

  • Strong commitment to safety and responsible cargo handling;

  • Availability to work on a local basis in Guyana.
