Introduction

  • Supervise the execution of Mechanical Completion activities by Contractor, ensuring quality, time of the work, effective and efficient delivery of various Offshore Brownfield scopes of Compression Project.
  • As part of the Brownfield construction team, led by the Head of BF Construction, directly involved in coordination and supervision of Mechanical Completion activities offshore, assisting Mechanical Completion Lead.
  • Responsible for quality, effectiveness and consistency in the BF construction processes, systems, procedures, and work products – while adhering to established Operations systems, processes and procedures (e.g., SIMOPS, Work Management System, PTW, etc.)
  • Coordinate with multiple internal and external interfaces across LNG and Shareholder organizations and Contractors - require effective communication, initiative, flexibility, and collaboration

What are you going to do 

  • Coordinating the execution of Mechanical Completion activities, ensuring quality, time of the work according to project requirements.
  • Liaising with the Construction, Commissioning and Quality team on a daily basis, ensuring that all system/sub-system handovers are completed in line with the schedule
  • Review mechanical completion packages & dossiers which includes mechanical completion check sheets, preservation records, commissioning procedures, punch lists, certificates and P&IDs.
  • Coordinate preservation & follow up preservation tasks completion & check sheet close out
  • Responsible for punch list recording, monitoring and execution up to Handover by Priority.
  • Ensure that punch list items are accurate and properly filed, liaising with the Construction and Commissioning Team and subcontractors for all disciplines to ensure the correct execution
  • Full knowledge of Completion Database, accurate data updating using import / export excel spreadsheet in accordance with ITRs allocation Matrix and defined Systems/Subsystems
  • Strong interaction with PMT during pre-com and commissioning phase. Leading of Walkthroughs and Punch Leading in the field. Punch categorization and Closure, review of Handover Dossiers and certification
  • Actively engage with Operations, Marine and Logistics organizations to solicit input, provide feedback and seek alignment with BF construction execution plans
  • Knowledge-expert on operations and marine practices and procedures related to BF construction (e.g., Work Management System (WMS), Permit-to-Work (PTW), SIMOPS, Marine Operations Manual, Shutdown Management System (SDMS))
  • As needed, may be assigned relief for the Mechanical Completions Lead.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Degree
  • Required to have offshore survival certificate and be able to pass an offshore medical evaluation. OPITO certification is considered a plus.
  • Ability to work on or be based on offshore platform or vessel.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 5 years demonstrated experience in Mechanical Completions supervisory role within Brownfield projects.
  • Extensive experience with execution of MC activities both from Contractor and Client organizations.
  • Strong background and experience in Offshore Brownfield Projects especially in Electrical, ICSS and Telecom Systems
  • Worldwide experience with contractors in particular those involved in the Offshore projects. It is an advantage if you have experience from Clients Completion philosophy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
  • A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English, Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
