Essential skills and knowledge 

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering with at least 15 years in Oil & Gas, including 10 years in telecom commissioning for onshore/offshore facilities.
  2. Proven experience in FEED and EPIC projects, with ability to review and approve contractor deliverables and manage commissioning from engineering to handover.
  3. Strong technical expertise in offshore telecom systems (CCTV, UHF/VHF radios, PA/GA, IP telephony, telemetry, AIS, ACS, structured cabling, network management systems).
  4. Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and execute pre-commissioning and commissioning, lead multi-cultural teams, and resolve technical issues under pressure.
  5. Excellent knowledge of industry standards, HSE compliance, risk management (HAZID, SIMOPS), and offshore survival certification (BOSIET/FOET + CA-EBS preferred).
  6. Exceptional communication, leadership, and documentation skills, including proficiency in IT tools and ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within cost.
