Procurement Business Partner (6-month contract)

What are you going to do

Responsibilities

Partner with the company's stakeholders to understand requirements, and support sourcing and contracting pipeline
Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including market analysis, supplier identification, tendering, negotiation, and contract management
Identify opportunities to align with Procurement preferred suppliers
Identify potential synergies in the company's spend
Liaise with local, regional and global category teams for operational support as appropriate
Support quick-win process improvement
Support integration activities ahead of adoption of the company's operating model in January 2026
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards as appropriate
Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and risk mitigation strategies
Collaborate with legal, finance, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure robust supplier governance and risk management

Essential skills and knowledge

Requirements

Degree or equivalent professional qualification
Significant procurement experience, in particular in managing Contract Research (R&D) or Contract Manufacturing Organisations (Operations).
Strong Communications skills with oral and written fluency in Business English
Supplier Management experience
Significant cross-industry and cross-category experience
Leading multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to leverage a range of influencing techniques
Proven ability to manage change
Strong analytical and financial skills
Delivering results under time pressure and in a highly ambiguous, matrixed environment
