Introduction

As a Fill & Pack Technology Specialist, you play a key role in optimizing filling and packaging processes with impact across R&D, production, and quality. You'll work in a dynamic environment, driving innovation from concept to implementation.

What are you going to do 

You play a central role in developing and implementing smart packaging solutions. From early design to full-scale production, you ensure every step adds value - with safety, efficiency, and innovation at the core.

What will you do?Design, refine, and challenge engineering concepts for filling and packaging machinery with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • Initiate, test, and implement new or improved equipment, preparing it for operational rollout.
  • Support Capex projects during front-end loading, commissioning, and start-up phases.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, product quality, and sustainability.
  • Manage technology projects or lead substreams, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D, production, quality, procurement, and marketing.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance (e.g. HACCP, GMP, food safety standards).
  • Provide training and technical support to ensure successful integration of technologies.

Essential skills and knowledge 

You're curious, hands-on, and technically sharp. You thrive in cross-functional teams and enjoy working where innovation meets operations. You bring:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the dairy or food packaging industry
  • Strong expertise in mechanical engineering and machinery design, with a focus on packaging systems
  • Experience with packaging technologies, including automation, materials, and primary to tertiary packaging
  • Solid understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food quality control standards
  • A structured and analytical mindset, with great attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage projects across multiple disciplines
  • Proficiency in data analysis and documentation tools
