As Packaging Specification Specialist in Wageningen, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that packaging data is accurate, compliant and future-ready. What are you going to do 

  • Maintain, develop and improve our ticketing system for packaging data requests.
  • Set up and implement an efficient way of working for handling customer specifications.
  • Support your colleagues with day-to-day activities around packaging specifications.
  • Improve our systems and ways of working (WoW) to ensure high data quality, integrity and usability.

Essential skills and knowledge 

You are a structured and proactive professional with strong communication skills. You enjoy working across teams, spotting improvement opportunities, and making data work for people. You take ownership, pay attention to detail, and like turning ideas into action.

In addition, you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging, Material Science, Food Technology or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food industry.
  • Experience with project management and stakeholder alignment.
  • Affinity with specification systems (SAP PLM is a plus) and data analytics.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
