Introduction

  • Lead and manage Compression EPC Contractor for safe and successful execution of onshore

    brownfield piping and Mechanical fabrication scopes to meet overall project objectives by

    ensuring HSE, Quality, planning, effective and efficient delivery of Compression Project.

  • Directly involved with the development of Onshore Brownfield fabrication plans and execution of

    the plans overseeing Compression onshore fabrication scope responsibilities and duties safely,

    efficiently and effectively.

  • Ensure there is quality, effectiveness and consistency in Brown Field fabrication processes,

    systems, procedures and work products while adhering to established piping and Mechanical

    fabrication processes and procedures (e.g., SIMOPS, Work Management System, PTW, etc.).

  • Ensure that there is sufficient and balanced resources and technical expertise available to

    support the stakeholders, efficiency in resource deployment to support the BF fabrication

    activities and respect for planning.

  • Manage multiple internal and external interfaces across The Company and EPC Contractors- require effective communication, flexibility, and collaboration.

What are you going to do 

  • Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.
  • Manages and ensures successful execution of Onshore Brownfield piping and Mechanical

    fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and

    others, as appropriate).

  • To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the piping

    and mechanical fabrication, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to

    ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable

    International Standards.

  • To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of

    the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.

  • Reviewing deviations to LNG construction standards for comments with Contractors /Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, procured and

    fabricated items, pre com/com dossiers, as built …) for the construction activities.

  • Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective

    actions as required.

  • To Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all fabrication subjects, MC, Pre-commissioning

    and Commissioning to ensure the Contractors/Subcontractors progress follow up and

    reporting.

  • Review Contractor’s progress reports and reports for all the activities, highlighting critical

    problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any.

  • To Participate to Risk Assessments, kick off meetings and Pre-Job Meetings, pre-Simops visits,

    technical meeting etc. as required in accordance with the Company’s referential.

  • To participate in REX and Lessons Learned for the Company.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s degree in sciences or engineering.
  • 8 years’ experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction,

    installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including

    1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor

    personnel.

  • Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
  • Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to

    major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the

    project scope.

  • Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations such as

    applicable to a project scope.

  • Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
  • Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, subsurface, etc.
