Brunel is seeking an Offshore Planner with recent and strong experience in offshore construction and commissioning. This role supports planning and execution activities for a greenfield development project, ensuring safe, efficient, and coordinated operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support SIMOPS (simultaneous operations) planning and execution, accounting for resource and equipment constraints, vessel availability, weather conditions, and offshore productivity.
Apply knowledge of offshore construction, commissioning, and permit-to-work systems to ensure compliance and safe operations.
Utilize commissioning management systems to track punch lists and drive carryover close-out.
Develop contingency planning and "what-if" schedules to optimize and safeguard critical activities.
Support permitting processes and coordinate with offshore construction vessels to align with project timelines.
Interface with project teams to identify risks, resolve conflicts, and maintain alignment on priorities.
Qualifications & Experience
Recent, hands-on experience with offshore construction, commissioning, and permit-to-work systems.
Strong understanding of SIMOPS planning and execution.
Knowledge of commissioning management systems, punch list tracking, and close-out processes.
Experience developing contingency plans and optimized schedules for critical offshore activities.
Offshore work experience considered a plus.
Operator experience highly valued; strong contractor experience (e.g., GATE, MMR) will also be considered.
