Introduction

A leading energy operator is seeking a highly organised and proactive Offshore Logistics Coordinator to support their operations on a jack-up rig in the Gippsland Basin. This offshore-based role is responsible for executing and optimising infield logistics support across production, decommissioning, and wells programs involving multiple platforms and vessels.

What are you going to do 

  • Act as the key offshore focal point for all cargo and deck logistics.
  • Manage daily rig logistics using KABAL and prepare vessel manifests, deck plans, and load-out schedules.
  • Coordinate closely with shorebase, marine teams, and drilling personnel to align with the daily operations plan.
  • Ensure safe and compliant handling of Dangerous Goods, waste fluids, and chemicals in line with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and report on all rental equipment movements, ensuring cost control and schedule efficiency.
  • Lead offshore deck management and logistics performance reporting, including any non-conformances or incidents.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Extensive experience in offshore logistics coordination within the oil & gas industry.
  • Proficient in logistics platforms such as KABAL, and working knowledge of SAP MM.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
  • Offshore certification including valid medical and fitness to work.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced offshore environment with minimal supervision.
