Introduction

  • Establish, consolidate and formalize key marine related interfaces with stakeholders enabling them to deliver the projects execution phase in accordance with QMS and Operations requirements
  • Manage overall projects execution integration to ensure alignment with the rest of LNG and ensure strategic connection between key stakeholders for implementing execution solutions in an effective and timely manner
  • Implement synergies and scalable execution best practices among projects
  • Ensure integrated execution schedule to prioritize safety, maximize efficiency, support SIMOPS management, minimize projects standby and loss of production
  • The operating environment is dynamic, demanding and challenging, requiring a high degree of personal commitment and organization
  • Flexible time management is important when working with teams in different world time zones
  • Positional boundary set by the approved Project Organization Charts

What are you going to do 

  • Planning / forecasting, marine assurance, vessels surveillance programs, reporting and performance reviews. Guide and direct all Projects to consistently comply to the Marine Operational Manual Procedure (MOPM) requirements.
  • Introduce a consistent execution process to manage the marine operational stewardship for Major Projects offshore spread, optimize execution efficiency and guarantee compliance
  • Focal Point interface with Offshore Operations and projects execution; scope is to identify gaps, remove barriers, introduce efficient strategic connections and ensure execution consistency
  • Capture lessons learned from previous projects and support efficient LLs sharing and communication for current and future projects
  • Introduce an effective execution co-activity planning schedule with all stakeholders, Operations and D&C, to support strategic schedule reviews, SIMOPS criticality identification and resolutions to optimize efficiency
  • Establish and reinforce strategic relationships with key stakeholders and vendors to support projects execution success in a competitive market environment (regionally and globally)
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with Major Projects key personnel (PMTs, Supporting Function), OPCO, LNGG Marine to ensure alignment on overall projects objectives and delivery in accordance with PMS and Operations requirements
  • Promote Safety Leadership, by supporting a proactive safety culture and implement industry leading safety best practices and initiatives, including use of Life Saving Rules and leading indicators to influence excellent HSES performance.
  • Maintain a learning environment for turning safety visions to improvements plans
  • Review the projects integrated execution schedule and critical milestones, support recovery/contingency plans to maximize synergies, minimize delays and maintain efficient SIMOPS Management for Major Projects, Operations and Drilling & Completions

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s degree in sciences, marine disciplines, or engineering or Marine First-Class Certificate of Competency 1.
  • 15 years seagoing experience as a shipboard engineer (Engineering to Chief Engineer) or sea officer (Cadet to Master), including 5 years as Chief Engineer or Master.
  • Projects execution experience with 10+ years at Construction & Installation Management level or equivalent, with responsibility for managing projects execution campaigns.
  • Advanced knowledge of oil and gas industry bodies, national and international maritime and shipping regulations.
  • Strong technical and operational marine knowledge.
  • Advanced knowledgeable in International Maritime Regulations, Codes and Standards.
  • Experienced in handling and managing offshore marine units operating in the oil and gas industry.
  • Broad and extensive knowledge of critical marine operations including offshore installation, construction vessels and barges, heavy lifts, transportation, pipe and cable lay, jack-up accommodation barges, and dive support vessels.
  • Extensive experience to execute Major Projects with leading international EPC Contractors and Major Operators (IOC & NOC).
  • Broad and extensive knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major construction, fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, together with knowledge of oil & gas facilities and structures.
  • Past experience with LNG Projects, knowledge of Standards of Business Conduct and LNG Project Management System (QMS).
  • Broad knowledge on effectively implementing the company Management System, leading and facilitating Formal Risk Assessment, Critical Incident Investigations and Management Reporting.
  • Extensive experience of executing projects in compliance with company Marine/Offshore standards and Operations requirements
  • Broad range of experience and skills through multiple function and project assignments (multi-discipline skill set).
