Introduction
Brunel International is currently seeking a Mechanical Technical Specialist to join our team initially on a 6-month contract, working on a FIFO basis to Papua New Guinea (PNG). What are you going to do
As a Mechanical Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and guidance on mechanical systems and equipment within a gold processing plant. Your main duties will include troubleshooting issues, conducting maintenance activities, and ensuring that all mechanical operations are carried out effectively and efficiently. This role will require you to work on a FIFO basis to PNG, where you will be involved in project-based assignments. Candidates must have either Crushing/ Grinding (Sag/ Ball Mills) and or Autoclave experiences in a Goldmine Fixed Plant environment.
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
- Trade qualification in Mechanical background or relevant field
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Technical Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work on a FIFO basis to PNG
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in project-based assignments is desirable
