Provide technical guidance and oversight for all Major Projects and Venture Group marine and lifting activities to ensure alignment with key stakeholders in implementing execution plans, detailed readiness processes, communication protocols, progress updates, effective SIMOPS &
logistic coordination, and assuring efficient execution for projects.
Key stakeholders include Offshore Operations, Marine, Logistics, and Subsurface.
Establish effective internal communication and ensure alignment among critical stakeholders to identify and implement solutions in a timely manner
Overcome internal barriers, clarify and simplify processes, focus on efficient execution strategies consistently implemented among all projects
Risk based evaluation of technical and execution issues associated with projects execution
Maximize project execution effectiveness by mitigating existing gaps, identifying synergies and strengthening consistency among critical processes and interfaces
Focus on execution process integration and standardization; identify and promote scalable execution, proactively sharing best practices and lessons learned
Lead the compliance assessment effort, approval, proper stewardship of operated vessels and equipment including lifting equipment to ensure the integrity of projects execution activities.
Ensure all projects are well resourced, commensurate with the scope and risk associated with execution and develop recommendations to management accordingly.
Lead assessment of reliable diving activities ensuring company requirements are implemented across all projects.
What are you going to do
Responsible for integrating and centralizing Marine Assurance for all projects; focal point with Marine with regards to Planning / forecasting, marine assurance, vessels surveillance programs, reporting and performance reviews. Guide and direct all Projects to comply with the Marine Operational Procedure (MOP) requirements.
Implement a consistent execution process to manage the marine operational stewardship for Projects offshore spread, optimize execution efficiency and guarantee compliance
Focal Point for Offshore Operations and for projects marine execution; scope is to identify gaps, remove barriers, introduce efficient strategic connections and ensure execution consistency
Consolidate the execution best practices and facilitate consistent implementation among Projects; support the standardization of execution campaign readiness processes and road maps in compliance with Project Management System and OPCO requirements.
Capture lessons learned from previous projects and support efficient LLs sharing and communication for current and future projects
Define and implement synergies and standardization among projects (i.e., marine units, offshore personnel); facilitate associated value proposition for Senior Management review and approval; lead multi-discipline task forces to introduce organizational improvement, maximize execution efficiency and improve safety performances
Introduce an effective execution activity planning schedule for all stakeholders, to support strategic schedule reviews, SIMOPS criticality identification and resolutions to optimize efficiency
Establish and reinforce strategic relationships with key stakeholders and vendors to support projects’ execution success in a competitive market environment (regionally and globally)
Establish and maintain effective relationships with Major Projects key personnel (PMTs, Supporting Function), Marine to ensure alignment on overall projects objectives and delivery in accordance with Operations requirements
Promote Safety Leadership, by supporting a proactive safety culture and implementing industry leading best safety practices and initiatives, including use of Life Saving Rules and leading indicators to influence excellent HSES performance.
Maintain a learning environment for turning safety visions to improvements plans
Analyze execution plans, determine key areas of focus (e.g. Diving) and ensure robust guidance is in place across all projects to support consistent, safe and efficient execution.
Provide guidance to Critical Lifting Subject Matter Experts to ensure compliance with requirements.
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
15 year’s experience in capital projects execution with 10+ years at Construction & Installation Management level or equivalent, with responsibility for managing projects execution campaigns. Experience as Chief Engineer or Master will be beneficial.
Extensive experience to execute Major Projects with leading international EPC Contractors and Major Operators (IOC & NOC).
Broad and extensive knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major construction, fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, together with knowledge of oil & gas facilities and structures.
Past experience with LNG Projects, knowledge of Standards of Business Conduct and LNG Project Management System.
Broad knowledge on effectively implementing the LNG HSE Management System, leading and facilitating Formal Risk Assessment, Critical Incident Investigations and Management Reporting.
Extensive experience of executing projects in compliance with LNG Marine/Offshore standards and Operations requirements Broad range of experience and skills through multiple function and project assignments (multi-discipline skill set).
