Introduction
Brunel are looking to identify a Maintenance Senior Engineering Specialist PVV (Piping, Valves and Vessels) to work for an international Operator on a major LNG project. This long term contract position, 12 month renewable,is expected to start in July 2026 and you will be residential, office based in Milan, Italy. There is also potential to follow the project in around 2 years' time and work on a rotational basis in Mozambique.

Requirements
- Mechanical Equipment Expertise: In-depth knowledge of oil and gas/LNG mechanical equipment maintenance, repair, and methods, including valves, piping systems, and heat exchangers.
- Operational Proficiency: Advanced understanding of LNG plant operations, testing, and repair methods for critical equipment such as tanks, MCHE, air coolers, and loading arms.
- International Standards Knowledge: Excellent command of international codes and standards for compliance and operational excellence.
- Maintenance Systems: Proficiency in maintenance SAP or similar systems (CMMS) for effective planning and execution.
- Computer Applications: Competence in relevant computer applications and methodologies.
- Language Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, meeting international standards.
- A minimum of 20 years in maintenance within the oil, gas, or petrochemical industries, including at least 10 years in LNG-producing plants.
- Excellent knowledge of LNG equipment - operation, testing and repair methods (Valves, Piping systems including supports, Packaged equipment, Tanks, MCHE, Heat Exchangers, Air coolers, Fired heaters, Cold boxes, Loading arms)
