Introduction
Our client, a prominent international player in the oil and gas sector, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineering Specialist (Rotating) to support a major LNG project. This office-based opportunity is located in Milan, Italy, with potential relocation to Mozambique on a rotational basis in the future. This long-term, 12-month renewable contract commences in July 2026.

Key Skills and Expertise
- In-depth Knowledge of Rotating and Mechanical Equipment: Expertise in maintenance, repair, and methodologies for oil, gas, and LNG equipment, including compressors, expanders, pumps, and LNG loading arms.
- GE Frame 7 Gas Turbines: Demonstrated proficiency with large-scale rotating equipment and hydraulic systems.
- International Codes and Standards: Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards to ensure compliance and excellence.
- Maintenance SAP: Adept in CMMS systems for effective maintenance planning and execution.
- Technical Competence: Strong computer application skills and technical methods.
- Communication: Excellent command of both written and spoken English to interact seamlessly with cross-functional and international teams.
Essential skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Rotating Engineering with international experience.
- A minimum of 15 years' maintenance experience in the oil, gas, or petrochemical industries.
- Minimum 7 years in LNG producing plants, not LNG terminals.
- Excellent knowledge of Gas Turbines and Compressors.
