Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
- Bachelor or Engineer Degree in Logistics, Freight Forwarding or International Trade
- Minimum of ten (10) years in Freight Forwarding, maritime imports and exports, transport of conventional and unconventional goods, including dangerous goods.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in the techniques of identifying, analyzing, and resolving transportation and logistics problems.
- Knowledge and experience in customs clearance procedures and associated documentation.
- Demonstrates sound written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels, in particular when at Site.
- Experience with Contractors, Sub-contractors and Vendors involved in the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrate ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
- Experience with worldwide Logistics and Freight Forwarding organizations.
- Diverse technical and business background in executed projects to enable strong interface and communications with Project Managers, Business Team personnel, government and port authorities and construction personnel.
- Good teamwork ability, facilitation skills, communication skills, and stress control.
- Good analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, with a high level of adaptability.
