Introduction
Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of fire trucks and associated firefighting equipment. The Fire Truck Driver ensures timely response to fire alarms and emergency situations within the power and desalination plant. Duties include driving heavy firefighting vehicles, positioning apparatus at incident scenes, and supporting firefighting and rescue operations.
What are you going to do
Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of fire trucks and associated firefighting equipment. The Fire Truck Driver ensures timely response to fire alarms and emergency situations within the power and desalination plant. Duties include driving heavy firefighting vehicles, positioning apparatus at incident scenes, and supporting firefighting and rescue operations. The role also involves conducting routine inspections, maintaining readiness of vehicles and equipment, and complying with Civil Defense and company safety standards.
Essential skills and knowledge
- NFPA 1001 Firefighter Level 1 & 2 certification.
- Advance fire fighting operation course or equivalent.
- Knowledge in Heavy vehical
- Knowledge/ experience on HAZMAT
- Valid Qatar Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
- Advance first Aider knowledge
What we offer
Work Schedule: 4 days On & 4 days off
Contract: 1 year with possible extension.
