What are you going to do

  • Leads the process engineering discipline activities for the assigned project (greenfield and brownfield scope). Provides Process Engineering direction, guidance and leadership to Compression project EPC(s) PMT and CONTRACTOR(s) for fieldwork within the assigned area.
  • Advises the Head of Process and supports the various Compression EPC(s) project(s) in all Process Engineering discipline related matters. Shall be flexible and team-orientated.
  • Supports PMT Engineering in monitoring the Contractor's progress on delivery of the required documents in the Process Engineering disciplines.
  • Provides Process engineering leadership and expertise while supervising and administering Process team. Review and approval of EPC contractor engineering deliverables/ simulations/ calculations, study reports and etc.
  • Performs process engineering studies, calculations, simulations, develop Basis of Design, Technical notes, adequacy assessment and etc. to support the project scope.
  • Plans and schedules the Process engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with comany operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system.
  • Maintains close liaison with appropriate members of Engineering Teams and gains alignment with the Engineering Manager on project engineering needs, objectives, and requirements.
  • Leads/Participates in key design workshop and ensure that Process design recommendations are correctly implemented and actions closed (Design Review, Lessons Learned, Value Engineering, HAZID,HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, engineering criticality assessment, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts with respect to the disciplines involved in delivery of the Process Engineering and ensures endorsement of Process Technical deviations to Company specifications when required.
  • General understanding of multi discipline engineering (mechanical/piping/ instrumentation
  • /etc) and ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Accountable for being knowledgeable of lessons learned from previous projects with the same contractor and capturing and communicating Process engineering and design lessons learned for the current project.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years oil and gas process engineering work experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of offshore projects Engineering. Indepth knowledge of Process engineering design, standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria.
  • Project experience with Tier-1 EPC Contractors. Involved in executing large offshore platforms (i.e. greenfield and brownfield work).
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proactively and continuously grow technical expertise in Facilities engineering disciplines
  • Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
  • Strong teamwork, facilitation, with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work with diverse cultures to obtain a world-class SHES performance
  • Team player who can effectively collaborate within Project Teams and with external parties.
  • Able to identify and analyse complex issues and provide recommendations.
