Introduction
We are recruiting a Electrical Engineer to join one of our leading multinational clients and their expanding team. This position is based in Bangalore/Chennai/Pune and offers an excellent opportunity for experienced proposal management professionals in the Infrastructure sector.
What are you going to do
Position: Electrical Engineer.
Contract: On Permanent Role.
- Performing activities of a limited scope, based on principles and techniques commonly employed in electrical engineering design
- Getting familiarized with project management techniques and Company management system to broaden the understanding of multi discipline design concepts in preparation of advancement to the next level.
- Reporting to Discipline Lead and responsible for guiding and supervising a group of engineers / designers
- Function as Project Lead for a Project / multiple projects, and fully responsible for all Electrical design activities / deliverables for the project(s)
- Experience in Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Design and Engineering works for Water & Waste Water Treatment works and industrial projects.
- Review and checking of design calculations and drawings and to ensure technical correctness and conformance to project requirements.
- Review Scope of Work from Preliminary Design Report and Estimate the man-hours required to complete the task.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Total Years of Experience: 5- 10 years
- Electrical Power and Lighting Design/ WTP & WWTP/ Power System Analysis.
- Experience in the design of water and wastewater treatment facilities or industrial
- facilities is preferred
- Proficiency with SKM Power*Tools or other electrical system analysis software is Preferred
- Development of design criteria, specifications and standards.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code is preferable
