Introduction

We're looking for an Electrical Design Engineer in Tilburg to work on electrolyzer stack systems for hydrogen applications. You'll handle the full development of industrial measurement sensors, from requirements to validation, collaborating with global teams, suppliers, and customers. Ensure CE and ATEX compliance, take ownership, and drive products from concept to market.

What are you going to do 

Your responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test electronics for sustainable residential heating, hot water, and renewable energy systems.
  • Document design choices and safety-related aspects.
  • Perform verification and integration testing of prototypes.
  • Select components, create schematics (including simulations), and review PCB layouts.
  • Support and resolve issues during EMC testing.
  • Actively contribute to design activities and suggest process or product improvements.

Essential skills and knowledge 

What you bring:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • ~10 years in sensor series development (industrial/automotive)
  • 5+ years experience as a hardware engineer, ideally in sustainable energy, heating, or appliances.
  • Skills in analog/mixed-signal design, power electronics, and display tech.
  • Knowledge of requirements engineering, FMEA, HARA, functional safety, PLC protocols, and directives (LVD, ATEX, EMC).
