Manage and oversee scheduling functions within project controls functional area for moderate to high-risk capital engineering and construction projects. Responsible for project planning and scheduling, monitoring, progress measurement, risk management and reporting. Manage planning team members reporting to the Project Controls Manager. Essential Functions: Develop and consolidate the Operational Readiness Plans for each project in the global portfolio of capital projects, including expansions and both new greenfield and brownfield assets. These plans include scope, schedules, budgets (AFE development) and progress tracking programs. Collaborate with Project teams and Site leadership to ensure clear and accurate Operational Readiness progress communication - intervening with scope, cost and schedule solutions as required to deliver Operational Readiness objectives. Work with each of the Project Readiness Managers and their relevant teams to refine the Operational Readiness Plans as the project develops. Support the effective execution of the plan with accountability, guidance, direction, and support. Guide and direct resolution of project difficulties and complex project control issues. Strong analytical skills required to review all project controls information and ensure accuracy as well as identify issues, concerns, and potential mitigations Interact with the Project Management and Corporate teams in the development of the project schedule and participate in regular project meetings. Gather information, conduct analyses and prepare reports and presentations of information to communicate potential issues and concerns as needed on the project. Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule. Identify, determine, and communicate design changes, scope changes, schedule slippages and potential impacts and participate in the identification of mitigations. Ensure trends of cost and schedule are identified, well documented and ensure the change management process is followed and communicate and suggest corrective actions Coordinate with cross functional team in project setting, ensure project controls team members are interfacing with engineering, procurement, contracts and construction on concepts and relationships to the scope of work. Manage project baseline process for schedule and participate in progress measurement as well as forecasting of final schedule throughout the project. Ensure all planning is conducted in accordance with company standards and procedures and that schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures are followed. Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend mitigations and potential workarounds Participate in risk management; this includes identification, documentation, mitigation and tracking of potential risks on the project. In addition, determine potential schedule/progress impacts of potential risks as they are identified Mentor and lead other project planner/scheduling members, ensure project planning team is staffed appropriately, conduct regular staff performance reviews, and manage any staffing issues that may arise Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slippages identified in schedule Job Scope: Nature of work: Works on complex issues and is responsible to implement solutions. Senior Planner

This is a long-term, contract position on a 4x1 rotation (4-weeks on site, 1-week off) for candidates who are outside the geography. This position will work on rotation at the New Orleans, Louisiana engineering office. Travel accommodations, housing, transportation, and a monthly stipend will be included. Schedule: 4 weeks working at site, 1 week off at home. If the project workload supports working from home during the "off" week, it must be with manager approval. Local Affairs Manager

The incumbent will be apart of a joint venture working with Local, State and Federal agencies on a multi-million dollar Civil Engineering project development construction project around Fargo. Responsibilities:* Coordinating the local day-to-day aspects of the project work in relation a major earth moving project. * Assist the project team with managing the schedule, cost, quality, and risk during all phases of the project life cycle.* Coordinate communications between the Contractor and the Fargo Project Authority. * Work with the CEO to negotiate fair solutions to change events and other issues with Fargo Project Authority.* Review various project reports created by the contractor and other members of the team and provide feedback.* Build and nurture positive relationships with representatives of various key stakeholder.* Present information and updates to Fargo Project Authority and other stakeholders. Qualifications:* Senior level project management experience. (Project Manager, Project Director, Engineering Manager, etc.)* 10+ years of directly related professional experience with major civil earth moving projects.* Experience on mega-million-dollar construction projects.* Experience in heavy earthworks construction, highway construction, bridge construction, utility construction and traffic control.* Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, along with a Master's degree in business administration (MBA) is preferred.* Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.* Professional Engineer PE in North Dakota is preferred.* Public-private partnership (PPP, 3P, or P3) experience is an asset.* Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.* Extensive Change Management experience.* Experience leading negotiations with clients.* Construction and/or engineering experience in the region.* Strong public speaking skills and strong interpersonal skills.* Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.* Ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people.* Display a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
