Develop and implement the commissioning strategy, schedule and procedures for all topsides, hull and subsea interfaces.
Coordinate pre-commissioning, mechanical completion, testing, system turnovers and integrated system testing across discipline teams, contractors and client representatives.
Lead the commissioning team (engineers, supervisors, specialists) and manage third-party contractors to deliver milestones.
Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and regulatory requirements; chair pre-commissioning safety reviews and permit-to-work processes.
Resolve technical and interface issues, escalate risks, and drive troubleshooting and corrective actions to minimize delays.
Control commissioning costs, report progress and maintain accurate status, punch lists and completion documentation for handover.
Facilitate training, operations familiarisation and final acceptance testing with client/operations.
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
Qualifications & experience
Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Naval Architecture, Offshore or related engineering discipline.
10+ years' offshore commissioning experience, with minimum 5 years in a commissioning leadership role on FPSO or large offshore production projects.
Strong knowledge of topsides systems (process, utilities, safety), hull systems, subsea interfaces and marine operations.
Proven leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with industry standards and HSE management for offshore projects.
