Introduction

Responsible for all aspects of the pre-commissioning and commissioning to support the successful delivery of the Compression Project scope.
Responsible as necessary to support the commissioning functions for Compression Project during the execution stage
Reviews/approves commissioning deliverables for inclusion for Compression Project packages.
Responsible for developing and maintaining processes and interfaces related to overall commissioning procedures for Compression Project.
Drives ongoing focus on systems completion deliverables for Compression Project.
Works closely with operations advisors to align on SIMOPs, Brownfield scope and systems completion strategy for Compression Project.

What are you going to do

Manage timely delivery of all systems completion’s deliverables (pre-commissioning and commissioning) for Compression Project.
Ensures overall commissioning compliance with Projects specifications, procedures, and plans.
Develop and manage effective commissioning procedures and tools, and commissioning plans for effective and smooth handover to the operating organization.
Work in a project environment to create a culture that encourages everyone to contribute to their best ability every day.
Coordinates complex internal and external interfaces including the potential for simultaneous operations (SIMOPS).
Clear and concise communications required with PMT members.
Leads by example and demonstrates high integrity in all details while sensitive to multi-cultural differences and effective communications with individuals for whom English is second language.
Interacts effectively with Qatargas Project Teams and Departments to resolve issues that require effective communication, initiative, flexibility, and an ability to influence without authority

Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering
8 years experience with large-project commissioning in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.
Expert in reading P&IDs, Datasheets, General Arrangement drawings and procedures.
Knowledge in projects execution, engineering, operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning and systems completion.
Knowledge in compliance with contract requirements including codes and standards, and contract technical specification compliance.
Experience with vendors operating in the LNG industry, such as compressors, power generation, control systems, topsides, etc.
Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
Experience in start-up support to Operation.
Excellent written and oral English skills.
Strong organizational, planning and coordination skills.
Effective communication, influencing and interface skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience of system completion management systems
