Brunel is happy to announce the addition of Meagan Geris to our growing Life Sciences team. In early July, Meagan began a new role as a Business Development Manager in the Life Sciences sector, primarily focused on creating new relationships with Medical Device companies.

Meagan comes to Brunel with years of experience in Recruitment and Sales, including 3 years working specifically in the Medical Device industry. Originally from Iowa, Meagan has been based in the heart of “Medical Alley” in Minnesota for the past several years and has brought in top talent to companies of all sizes. Meagan has worked with everyone from small startups to Fortune 100 companies. Meagan was attracted to the Brunel team because she could tell immediately that Brunel was a great company that loves to take care of people. Even though she’s working remotely, everyone has been awesome supporting her and helping her feel connected to the rest of the team. Meagan is excited to help our growing team turn Life Sciences in to one of the top revenue generators for Brunel.
Additionally, Meagan is looking forward to the new opportunities in the industry as the pandemic winds down. She said, “Now that things are getting back to normal after last year, we are seeing a great deal of growth in the medical device industry. Mergers and acquisitions, new technologies, AI innovations, 3D printing, and robotic surgery are a few trends that are attributing to this growth. It’s an exiting time to be a part of the industry! We are looking forward to attending a number of conferences this year, including MD&M and MedTech in Minneapolis, and the BIOMEDevice in Boston! These events allow us to stay up to date on emerging technologies and trends, as well as an opportunity to network with industry leaders.”

Meagan is a new mother to a 10-month old son named Ray. She is also former collegiate golfer (and Baby Ray is on his way to the links any day now).
