Brunel Opens Boston Office to Expand Life Sciences Work

Back in April at Brunel’s Q1 Town Hall it was announced that Una Harte, a 4-year veteran of Brunel Canada, would be moving to the US to become the Business Manager for USA Life Sciences. Now that move has come to fruition and Brunel’s Boston office is open for business. Una makes the 8th P&L holder in the region and will look to bring our Life Sciences vertical from strength to strength in the US.

Una Harte to Lead New Brunel Boston Office

As a Business Manager with Brunel Canada, Una has a proven track record of leadership and growth over the past 4 years and was instrumental in bringing the Calgary office to where it is today.

Una will be based in Boston, Massachusetts which is a hot spot for Life Sciences in the United States. Una's goal is to grow the US Life Sciences division, generating new business and selling Brunel’s local and international capabilities. Una spoke about her plans for the office saying, “I’m really excited about the strategy we have built for our USA Life Sciences vertical and eager to get a fantastic team established to support the growth plans for the vertical. Watch this space!” Serving on the US Senior Leadership Team, Una will be responsible for leading her team in building and maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities in the life sciences sector. Boston will also serve as a key location for our Offshore Wind team, which is led by Thomas Denney.

Thomas Denney spoke about opening the Boston office saying “the Brunel team will be much closer to our clients and candidates in the Northeast, a rapidly growing region for Life Sciences. In an increasingly digital/remote world, we still believe that strong relationships are built by meeting with people, so the move was an easy decision to make. Our Boston operation will support both the Offshore Wind and Life Sciences sectors, two critical verticals for Brunel globally. I’m very excited for Una and her team to lead this new office.”

While Una will leave some large shoes to fill in Canada, country manager Kerrianne MacMullin “celebrates her success and has confidence that Una will continue to set the bar high for herself as she creates new relationships and hefty goals in Boston.”
