Introduction

A reputable, family owned civil contractor with a strong presence across the Newcastle, Hunter, and Central Coast regions is seeking a capable Site Supervisor to join their growing team.

About this role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing site operations and coordinating teams to deliver works safely, on time, and to specification. You'll manage subcontractors, materials, plant and ensure that safety and quality standards are upheld on site. You'll be part of a supportive team that values experience and leadership, and you'll be working locally - not rotating or FIFO.

Oversee daily site activities across civil and water infrastructure projects
Manage crews, subcontractors, and plant on site
Coordinate works in line with program, budget, and project scope
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements
Assist with site reporting, inspections, and client liaison
Lead toolbox talks and promote a positive safety culture on site

Is this you?

Trade background or Civil Supervisor experience within infrastructure projects
Previous experience with water-related civil works (e.g., pipelines, pump stations) highly regarded
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
Practical understanding of construction methods and sequencing
White Card and current driver's licence essential
Confident with reading plans and coordinating site activities
