Introduction

Brunel are proud to partner with our client who are looking to add a Full Time, Permanent Site Manager to their team. This client are long standing in the QLD construction industry known for their work delivering complex Commercial and Industrial projects with average values ranging from $20m - $70m.

The initial project will be based South Brisbane.

About this role

  • Manage all on-site activities to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality project delivery.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain program and standards.
  • Monitor progress and resolve site issues to avoid delays.
  • Enforce WHS compliance and lead safety inductions and toolbox talks.
  • Oversee site logistics, deliveries, and material handling.
  • Maintain quality control and ensure works meet design and spec.
  • Liaise with the PM, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.
  • Support cost control by reporting variations and site impacts.
  • Maintain accurate site records and daily reporting.
  • Foster a positive, safety-first culture on site.

Is this you?

Requirements:

  • QBCC Site Supervisor license (Preferred)
  • 5 - 10+ years experience working as a Site Manager for a Main Contractor Builder or Developer (Required)
  • Exposure managing New Build Commercial Construction Projects from $20m+ (Required)
  • Trade qualified (Preferred)
  • Understanding of construction processes, materials, and best practices
  • Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in fast-paced settings.
