Introduction

Brunel has partnered with a leading global energy operator to recruit a Senior Subsea Valves Engineer to support a major offshore gas development. This role plays a pivotal part in progressing the project towards Final Investment Decision (FID).

About this role

  • Deliver technical input to subsea valve design, engineering, testing and qualification activities
  • Support technical review of vendor proposals, bid evaluations and clarifications
  • Coordinate interfaces between internal engineering, FEED contractor and vendors
  • Ensure risks are captured, tracked and mitigated in line with project assurance processes
  • Participate in and lead technical assurance reviews, design reviews and readiness assessments
  • Support preparation of technical documentation, scopes of work and contracting packages for Execute phase
  • Contribute to mentoring and knowledge-sharing within project and engineering teams

Is this you?

  • Degree qualification in Mechanical, Subsea, or related Engineering discipline
  • Strong subsea project experience, including valve design/procurement/testing
  • Strong working knowledge of API, ASME and DNV subsea valve and equipment standards
  • Experience managing interfaces between FEED contractors, fabricators and internal engineering teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills in multidisciplinary environments
  • Commitment to safety, engineering integrity and high-quality delivery
