Introduction

Our client, a leading Tier One mining business, is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support a major rail infrastructure project. Based in Perth CBD, this is a key contract role offering the opportunity to lead the delivery of a strategic sourcing initiative within the Rail Network Renewals space.

About this role

Working closely with internal stakeholders across operations, legal, and finance, you will manage the full tendering lifecycle - from RFP development through to evaluation and contract award. This role plays a critical part in securing commercially favourable outcomes for a high-value, performance-based contract.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage RFP development, release, and evaluation
  • Lead commercial assessments and stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with governance and policy standards
  • Coordinate internal approvals and contribute to contract finalisation

Is this you?

  • Proven experience managing procurement for capital projects
  • Strong Excel and commercial modelling skills
  • Confident in autonomous tender management and negotiation
  • Exposure to performance-based contracting models
  • You must have current right to work in Australia to be considered for this role
