Introduction

Our client, a leading Tier One mining business, is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support a major rail infrastructure project. Based in Perth CBD, this is a key contract role offering the opportunity to lead the delivery of a strategic sourcing initiative within the Rail Network Renewals space.

About this role

Working closely with internal stakeholders across operations, legal, and finance, you will manage the full tendering lifecycle - from RFP development through to evaluation and contract award. This role plays a critical part in securing commercially favourable outcomes for a high-value, performance-based contract.

What You'll Be Doing

Manage RFP development, release, and evaluation
Lead commercial assessments and stakeholder engagement
Ensure procurement activities comply with governance and policy standards
Coordinate internal approvals and contribute to contract finalisation

Is this you?

Proven experience managing procurement for capital projects
Strong Excel and commercial modelling skills
Confident in autonomous tender management and negotiation
Exposure to performance-based contracting models
You must have current right to work in Australia to be considered for this role
