Brunel has partnered with a rapidly growing national business to recruit an Operations Manager on a full-time permanent basis. Located in Bentley, this role will be pivotal in driving Operational Performance and strengthen the WA Operations. A strong focus on people leadership, collaboration and operational excellence as the Company targets $100M turnover by 2030.

About this role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a 'hands-on', lead from the front role suited to a calm, commercially minded leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • You will work in collaboration with the Warehousing, Purchasing and Customer Services Teams both in the Bentley and Fremantle premises
  • Develop a trusting, engaging workforce aligned around shared goals and collaborative ways of working
  • Provide strong, daily leadership support
  • Work in close collaboration with the Purchasing Manager and Warehouse Manager - direct reports
  • Assist the Purchasing Team with analysis and cost control
  • Contribute to participate in the executive process for month-end and annual budget processes
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations including troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Assist with warehouse logistics including inbound/outbound deliveries
  • Contribute to pricing and profitability strategies
  • Ensure HSE awareness and compliance
  • General day to day administration including emails, reporting - MS Excel spreadsheets and using the ERP system - Sybiz
  • Drive continuous improvement in communication from the front line
  • Opportunity for future interstate travel as the business grows

Is this you?

  • Proven experience in Operations, Logistics, Warehousing or Supply Chain environments
  • 'Hands-on' leadership experience within a blue collar environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • The ability to unify teams and build collaboration
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems - Sybiz (desirable)
  • Parking available on-site
