Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise civil crews delivering subdivision works including earthworks, drainage, and services
  • Plan and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring plant, materials, and labour are organised
  • Maintain safety, quality, and productivity across all stages of construction
  • Read and interpret plans to guide crews and ensure work meets project specifications
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors to keep the program moving smoothly
  • Monitor progress on site, identify issues early, and implement practical solutions

Requirements

  • Experience as a Civil Foreman or a Leading Hand ready to step up
  • Background in subdivisions, earthworks, utilities, or general civil construction
  • Ability to read and interpret civil plans, levels, and specifications
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate crews
  • Solid understanding of safety practices and site compliance
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to make practical decisions on site
  • Willingness to relocate, with support available
