We're currently seeking an experienced Asset Manager - Distribution to lead a regional team responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient management of power network assets across Esperance and Goldfields

About this role

In this position, you'll lead a team overseeing the management, performance, and lifecycle planning of distribution network assets. You'll drive continuous improvement in asset reliability, safety, and data integrity while ensuring all work programs align with strategic and regulatory objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering annual asset management and maintenance plans
  • Managing budgets, contractors, and regional work programs
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory frameworks
  • Overseeing performance reporting, fault analysis, and risk management
  • Providing visible leadership and mentoring to your regional team

You're a technically minded leader who thrives in a dynamic operational environment. You'll bring a balance of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and the ability to inspire high performance in your team.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven background in distribution asset management or utilities
  • Strong people leadership and coaching ability
  • Solid grasp of WA electrical regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and reporting
  • Willingness to travel within regional Western Australia
