The role offers hybrid working flexibility and can be based anywhere on the East Coast of Australia, with occasional travel for key workshops or project meetings.

About the Role

This is a delivery-focused and hands-on role where you'll take ownership of testing activities from planning through to execution and reporting. You'll work with project teams, business users, and vendors to ensure the solution is tested thoroughly and meets operational standards.

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test scripts, plans, and test cases for HSE and related software systems.

  • Coordinate Functional Testing and manage Performance Testing activities conducted through external vendors.

  • Track defects, manage test evidence, and ensure quality standards are met before release.

  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and vendors to validate requirements and resolve issues.

  • Provide clear and concise reporting on testing progress, risks, and results.

  • Confidently engage with senior stakeholders, presenting test outcomes and ensuring alignment on quality expectations.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation.

Is this you?

  • Proven experience as a Test Manager in large-scale enterprise environments. (mining or heavy industry experience highly regarded).

  • Strong background in Functional Testing with working knowledge of Performance Testing managed through vendors.

  • Hands-on experience creating and executing test scripts and managing end-to-end test cycles.

  • Exposure to HSE, ERP, or enterprise business systems

  • Experience working on greenfield implementations.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and being able to engage with challenging stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
