Introduction

On behalf of our client - Woodside Energy, Brunel is recruiting an experienced Quality Manager to provide strategic Quality leadership across a diverse international project portfolio. This role sits within the Corporate Quality Group, supporting both pre-Execute and Execute phases of major onshore, offshore, subsea, wells and brownfield development opportunities.

The role will drive quality governance, assurance frameworks, engineering surveillance, contractor evaluation, package management and QMS uplift across multiple delivery lines.

About this role

  • Support capability demand for pre-Execute activities, corporate process governance, and QMS improvements globally.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Quality Strategies and FEED Quality Management Plans across major project scopes.
  • Oversee EPC contractor performance, engineering quality assurance, supplier surveillance, construction surveillance and completions quality control.
  • Drive adoption of leading quality practices, tools and digital performance reporting.
  • Ensure cross-company verification of quality across design, procurement, fabrication and construction.
  • Conduct audits across delivery lines (Projects, Assets, Contractors and Suppliers) to ensure conformance to internal standards and contractual requirements.
  • Act as a custodian for process safety critical quality requirements.

Is this you?

  • Extensive experience in Quality Management for large-scale Oil & Gas / Energy major capital projects.
  • Strong background in engineering assurance, verification frameworks and contractor quality governance.
  • Experienced leading both direct and indirect functional teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills at senior levels.
  • Demonstrated experience using data-driven assurance tools and performance reporting systems.
  • Lead Auditor certification (essential).
  • Engineering degree (highly regarded).
  • Experience across materials management, vendor documentation or major shutdowns/turnarounds (advantageous).
