Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst - Data & AI to support the delivery of advanced analytics, automation and artificial intelligence initiatives within a large enterprise organisation. Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, you will identify opportunities where data and AI can improve decision-making, optimise processes and deliver measurable business outcomes.

About this role

As the Business Analyst - Data & AI, you will work closely with corporate stakeholders, data teams and delivery teams to shape and deliver AI-driven business solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritise opportunities for AI, automation and advanced analytics.

  • Facilitate discovery workshops to understand current-state processes, challenges and desired outcomes.

  • Elicit, analyse and document business and technical requirements.

  • Translate business problems into clearly defined AI, analytics or automation use cases.

  • Define success metrics, KPIs and value realisation measures for initiatives.

  • Work closely with data scientists, data engineers and architects to validate feasibility and data requirements.

  • Support solution delivery including UAT planning, test scenario development and stakeholder feedback coordination.

  • Assist stakeholders in interpreting analytical outputs and converting them into clear business insights.

  • Identify potential governance risks including data quality, privacy, compliance and responsible AI considerations.

  • Maintain strong documentation and support business adoption of new solutions.

To succeed in this role you will bring a combination of business analysis expertise and strong data/AI awareness.

Essential:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst delivering technology or data initiatives.

  • Experience supporting AI, machine learning, automation or advanced analytics projects.

  • Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.

  • Understanding of the AI project lifecycle including problem framing, data requirements and value measurement.

  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
