Introduction

This is not just a sales role; it is a strategic leadership position. You will be responsible for defining and executing our clients Business Development strategy, ensuring it aligns with their corporate objectives to drive revenue and secure their market position.

About this role

  • Develop and implement BD strategy to expand market share, particularly within Drilling and Completions. Identify new market opportunities and provide leadership to drive team performance and engagement.
  • Create and execute actionable sales plans to hit revenue targets. Monitor market trends, manage the sales pipeline, update financial forecasts, and present KPI reports to the executive management team.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients, acting as the primary point of contact for key accounts to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead negotiations to secure favourable contract terms and legal requirements. Oversee the contract lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions meet client specifications and are delivered to the highest quality standards. Support pre- and post-contract activities to drive continuous improvement in field execution.
  • Drive the adoption of C RM tool to manage leads effectively. Prepare performance dashboards and identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Is this you?

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in a senior Business Development, Sales, or Commercial role within the industry.
  • Exceptional knowledge of building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of how these technologies apply to the sector.
