Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major operatorship transition within the energy sector. This role will focus on mapping current and future-state processes, gathering business requirements, documenting workflows and assisting the business through change.

You will work closely with project leadership, operational stakeholders and functional SMEs to ensure a smooth transition to the future operating model.

About this role

  • Conduct structured requirements gathering across business and operational teams
  • Map and document current-state and future-state processes and workflows
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, simplification and standardisation
  • Present findings, documentation and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Support organisational change management and business readiness planning
  • Assist with training materials, transition documentation and user guides

Is this you?

  • Strong background as a Business Analyst in large, complex organisations
  • Expertise in process mapping, requirements definition and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with business process documentation tools
  • Experience in energy, resources or heavy industry environments (advantageous)
