This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of experience in residential construction who wants to grow their career within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

What are you going to do

The Pre-Construction Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the early stages of the building process, ensuring projects are well organised, documentation is accurate, and communication flows smoothly between internal teams, clients, and external partners.

You'll work closely with estimating, drafting, sales, and construction teams to ensure projects transition efficiently from concept through to construction.

  • Coordinate the pre-construction process from initial documentation through to construction handover
  • Assist with preparation and review of contracts, variations, and project documentation
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, councils, and internal teams to keep projects moving forward
  • Manage approvals, permits, and supporting documentation required prior to construction
  • Support the estimating and drafting teams with documentation and coordination
  • Track project progress and ensure deadlines and milestones are met
  • Maintain accurate records within internal systems and project files
  • Provide exceptional client communication and updates throughout the pre-construction phase

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • 1-2 years experience in residential construction (pre-construction, estimating support, admin, or similar)
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive, proactive mindset, attitude is everything!!!
  • Preferably locally based and familiar with the residential construction process
