Introduction

Woodside is seeking a Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer to support a major offshore decommissioning campaign. This role will be involved in planning, execution readiness and offshore operations, coordinating marine activities, contractor interfaces and project delivery to ensure the safe and efficient removal, transportation and load-in of offshore infrastructure.

What are you going to do

  • Support the planning and delivery of a major offshore decommissioning campaign.
  • Coordinate offshore preparation, removal, transportation and load-in activities.
  • Participate in technical reviews, execution planning and readiness activities.
  • Develop and review procedures, project documentation and execution plans.
  • Coordinate contractor, vessel and stakeholder interfaces across the project lifecycle.
  • Support HAZID, risk assessment and risk mitigation activities.
  • Assist with mobilisation planning, vessel readiness and offshore campaign preparation.
  • Provide field engineering support during offshore execution phases.
  • Support Management of Change (MOC) processes and operational decision-making.
  • Promote safe and environmentally responsible work practices.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Degree qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience delivering offshore oil & gas, marine, decommissioning, heavy lift or subsea projects.
  • Strong project execution and contractor management experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and coordination skills.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery and engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of Australian offshore regulations and permitting processes is advantageous.
  • Ability to work offshore on a rotational roster during execution phases.
