What are you going to do
- Assume responsibility and represent the design department in the review and integration of the schedule into database and will guide the Consultants in preparation of the schedule to be compatible with the integration requirements.
- Reviewing consultant's work program submissions including all narratives and supporting information and provides analysis and findings.
- Verifying actual progress and comparing actual performances to original plans.
- Monitoring, adjusting and updating the cost plan and cash flows accordingly and consolidating of these in consultant monthly reports.
- Estimating time element of change orders and submits his analysis to the Engineer and incorporating within the master schedule after authorization.
- Evaluating Consultants / Contractors Extension of Time requests and preparing recommendations to the Engineer.
- Liaise with utilities providers and other stakeholders.
- Performance of other related duties as per management instructions.
Essential skills and knowledge
- BSc/BEng degree in relevant Engineering field from a recognized university.
- Recognized training / certification in planning and scheduling of projects from a reputable institute.
- 15 years of demonstrable experience as a planning engineer or relevant role dealing with infrastructure/ building Projects.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience with management capacity.
