Introduction

  • Lead and manage FEED and phases of the Offplot Project for the Offplot organization, while ensuring safety, efficiency, high quality project execution, and on time delivery within the approved budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project objectives while adhering to LNG strategies and ensuring long term project performance meets shareholder expectations.
  • Manage and timely execute FEED and scope of work of Offplot which is a world class, large, complex, fast-track, multi-cultural and multilocation, requiring the incumbent to provide full support, clear, concise and transparent reporting of actions and areas of concern, if any, to SPM.
  • Contribution, as a leader of the area, to the flawless and safe execution of all phases of the FEED contract work and delivery of a high-quality facility on schedule and within approved budget, providing visible SHE leadership through active participation in LNG Project Safety Program and compliance with LNG Life Saving Rules.
  • Provide overall leadership, direction, and integration of all project activities to ensure successful delivery in terms of HSE, cost, schedule, quality, and operability.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams and contractors during all phases of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Establish and maintain strong interface coordination with Operations entities to ensure early engagement, proper design input, and smooth integration of new facilities.
  • Lead interface management with internal departments and external stakeholders including operations, marine, HSE, permitting, and logistics.
  • Promote a “work as a team” approach with the contractor and End-User / Operations, aimed as to build strong relationship and facilitate hand-over of the facilities. While being firm when Contractor is not meeting its contractual obligations.

What are you going to do

  • Lead the coordination of the entire project lifecycle, ensuring the timely delivery of the Offplot Project scope of work, from FEED, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning making the best use of the Offplot Project resources and maintains/enhances team alignment and collaboration.
  • Ensure alignment with strategic objectives, compliance with project milestones, budgetary and technical requirements while coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Manage significant resources and coordinate efforts across multiple teams.
  • Develop and implement project execution goals, objectives, and critical success factors, aligning with Shareholder/Stakeholders expectations.
  • Manage the scheduling and planning of project scope to meet business objectives and stakeholder expectations, driving collaboration among various workgroups to align project scope ensuring effective resource allocation Establish and maintain robust project risk and issue management processes, proactively identifying and mitigating risks throughout all phases of the project.
  • Manage change management by anticipating potential impacts of project changes, evaluate alternative solutions, and facilitate collaborative discussions with contractors to resolve changes, ensuring adjustments align with overall project goals and maintain operational continuity and efficiency in project delivery.
  • Proactively engage with senior management to ensure alignment with strategic goals and secure necessary approvals. Utilize extensive organizational knowledge and experience to make decisive, informed decisions that drive project success.
  • Manage contractors and sub-contractors to ensure adherence to project performance metrics related to safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships to facilitate collaboration and project success by control a dynamic work environment with high expectations for a flawless project execution, to achieve safety, quality, cost, and schedule performances.
  • Build and lead a high performing, collaborating and accountable team.
  • Ensure adequate resourcing and empower team members to fulfill their roles effectively.
  • Ensure the development and maintenance of in-house tools and systems to meet business needs.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with Company policies and international standards and regulations.
  • Address safety issues timely, maintain an incident and injury free workplace, and promote “no blame” culture so that “nobody gets hurt” across the project teams and execution sites.
  • Provide detailed contract close-out report, including feedback, lessons learned, and areas of improvement to support future project initiatives, and benchmarking.
  • Monitor Project performance, KPIs and exception reports to identify critical issues in support of overall Project management.
  • Support resolution through coordination with respective functional managers to identify mitigation options and contingency plans.
  • Coordinate and manage various action registers to ensure completion of tasks.
  • Demonstrate visible leadership by gaining credibility with Project Team, Contractor and Operations throughout all the phases of Project execution within the area of responsibility, including design, detailed engineering, interfaces, quality, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, completion, and start-up.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
  • 15 years diversified and multi-disciplinary experience in oil & gas Industry, with track record of managing complex projects out of which 5 years in supervisory level role with knowledge of a major project environment.
  • Significant experience in project management on large, complex, multi-location and multi-cultural green field & Brownfield projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE standards and regulatory compliance in LNG projects
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong technical and commercial knowledge.
  • Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and project evaluation
