What are you going to do

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and perform routine cleaning of processing equipment, including spray drying and milling systems
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and support day-to-day production to ensure minimal downtime
  • Monitor product quality and perform routine checks to ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP)
  • Adjust key process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates to optimize production efficiency and yield
  • Conduct in-process inspections and support consistency of finished product quality
  • Follow established sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and compliant production environment
  • Accurately document production data, including process conditions and quality results

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Process Operations, Chemical Engineering Technology, Food Science, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing environment (food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or agricultural preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience working with production or automated equipment
  • Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP and GMP is considered an asset
  • High attention to detail with the ability to monitor processes and identify inconsistencies
