Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent.
- 10 years’ experience at Piping Engineering with a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, onshore Compression facilities design, brownfield construction and operations. Experience with CCS/CCUS and CO2 Piping is an added advantage.
- Well conversant with the development of piping service classes and the design codes related to its development.
- Formal training and hands-on experience with pipe stress analysis software like CAESER II/Auto Pipe/FE pipe/COSMOS.
- Design knowledge in piping & nozzle load calculations and interpretation of design drawings and specifications for static equipment e.g. tanks, pressure vessels, exchangers, and piping.
- Well experienced in the Material requisition and TBE preparation and evaluation
- Very much conversant with various valves design, used in the Compression and oil and gas facilities.
- Excellent written and oral English skills.
- Strong communication and team-working skills. Strong organizational, planning, management, and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, Lotus Notes, etc.
